Criminal Defense Attorney: Defending the Rights of the Accused and the Incarcerated

The San Saba Unit is a transfer facility located about one hour and forty five minutes northwest of Austin.  It is now an all female unit with a capacity of roughly six hundred.  As a parole attorney I have visited many clients at the San Saba Unit in order to properly represent them before the Gatesville Parole Board.  Although San Saba is a transfer facility an offender can stay at a transfer facility for up to two years.  Therefore, many offenders with sentences under ten years will first be considered for parole while still at a transfer facility.  Alternatively, many offenders begin the parole process while still at San Saba and if you wait to contact a parole attorney until after they have transferred it may be to late.

If you have any questions regarding the Texas Parole Process please fill out a contact form or call us for a free consultation at 713-651-1444.  We regularly represent offenders before the Gatesville Parole Board and believe that having a strong advocate who can explain to the parole board why an offender will be successful on parole, makes sure the board receives any and all information that could help them conclude that an offender should be paroled, and has experience representing offenders through the parole process can be very helpful in obtaining a positive outcome from the parole board.  As Texas parole attorneys we also believe that having an attorney who can explain the process to you and keep you informed can be helpful during this difficult time and we are always available to answer any questions you may have.
