Q Texas Parole Lawyer - What is the Maximum Sentence Date?
If you do an offender search on TDCJ's website you will be given a Parole Eligibility Date, a Projected Release Date and a Maximum Sentence Date. The Maximum Sentence Date is the date on which the offender will have served every day of their sentence. For example if an offender was sentenced to five years the Maximum Sentence Date will be calculated by determining the date on which the offender has credit for five years. It does not include good time or work credits.
Most offenders do not serve the entire sentence and are paroled before that date is reached.
