Criminal Defense Attorney: Defending the Rights of the Accused and the Incarcerated

As Texas Parole Lawyers we are often asked when the right time to hire a parole lawyer.   The right time depends on many factors.  It is never to early to call us at 888-661-5030 we would gladly discuss the case in order to determine when the right time to begin work would be and you are better off calling too early then waiting until it is too late.  To properly represent someone before the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles takes a great deal of preperation.  It is necessary to meet with out client numerous times, discuss their situation with their support system, review their court documents including the police report if possible, review their criminal history, write a parole packet and prepare for our meeting with parole board.  The length of the sentence is usually the determining factor.   We prefer to be hired at least six months before our client’s parole eligibility case but are often retained a year in advance.  This means on a non-3(g) case you probably should begin looking for a Texas Parole Lawyer immediately if the sentence was six years or less.

Some families believe that by hiring a parole attorney early in the process they are giving their loved hope which in turn increases the chances that they will avoid getting into trouble while in TDCJ.  In these cases we meet with clients when they first arrive at TDCJ, or before, and give them some general advice about what they can do to increase their chances and making parole.  If you have any questions about the parole process or our services please call us or fill out an online contact form for a free consultation.
